Here are a few photos from a Workshop I ran at Makers House - which housed the New Burberry Collection taking inspiration from the artist Henry Moore. The exhibition included some of Henry Moore's most famous sculptures alongside his working models and maquettes, these were entangled with the new Burberry Collection. BurberryMakersHouse
Louisa was formally trained as a painter at Wimbledon school of Art, through her painting she pursues harmony of line, form and composition; all elements that influenced her current range of fabric designs. Taking inspiration from the traditional craft of block printing, one of the oldest methods of printing. Louisa uses simple geometric form and shape, embracing the nuances and subtle variation the process of block printing offers. Her patterns are finished with flecks of colour painted by hand.
