Ray Quilt

My work focuses on the beautifully simple, slow art of hand-carved block printing. This new Ray Quilt is a combination of my work with hand block printing and that of hand embroidering. Adding hand embroidered colour, replaces my usual dash of burnt orange paint.

This charcoal colourway in Ray is currently the only one made.

A fine boarder of burnt orange cotton encompasses the quilt which measures 200cm x 145cm.

Care for these quilts; I like to treat all my work as delicate avoiding washing if at all possible, although they can be cool hand washed or at a cool low delicate setting in the washing machine.
