Laugh & Hail was one of the first blocks I made when starting my journey with block printing, the design I hold close.

During 2020 I created a pair Laugh & Hail of quilts. The quilts reflect one another, with one printed with a horizontal orientation and the other Vertical. They are both hand block printed in charcoal grey with a dash of hand painted burnt orange. Tying the peices together they both have a burnt orange cotton detail around the edge.

They both measure 200cm x 150cm, fitting comfortably on a single or double bed.

Care for these quilts; I like to treat all my work as delicate avoiding washing if at all possible, although they can be cool hand washed or at a cool low delicate setting in the washing machine.
