BLOCK PRINTING WORKSHOP 

During London Craft Week I am excited to be hosting a special one off Block Printing Workshop with Window135.

An opportunity for you to spend the afternoon in an inspiring space exploring Block Printing and pattern. (and have your block printed work in the window at the end!)

Window135 is a shop front window gallery space in New Cross Gate, London. Over the last 20 years Artists Tim and Meena have used the window to showcase their own work and also generously share the window with other artists to show their work too the community along the New Cross road.

Tim and Meena are kindly sharing their space to host this one off afternoon of block printing that we hope you will enjoy. 

Time: 2pm - 5.30pm

Together we will go through each stage of the block printing process. You will have the chance to carve your own linoleum block, which you will use to explore and develop your own pattern repeat. Creating your very own hand block printed design onto a natural linen fabric. At the end of the session you will take away your own fabric samples along with contributing to a communal block printed piece to be hung in the window for the final day of Craft Week.

Suitable for beginners, everyone’s welcome.
