After visiting the Fabric of India exhibition currently on at the V&A I realised even more just how wonderful Khadi cotton - its meaning and spirit, this why I like working on it. Here is a beautiful film I found showing the process of its production. Khadi is not just a cloth, it is a whole movement started by Gandhi. The Khadi movement promoted an ideology, an idea that Indians could be self-reliant on cotton and be free from the high priced goods and clothes which the British were selling to them.

A trip to IVO. It was Fantastic. I couldn't resist taking a few snaps while we were there to share. In particular, the leader cloth was fabulous with its prints over prints, along with the colour splattered everywhere cleaning room roof and those table to die for. Thank you for making us so welcome in your space.
